Forced to enter a patriotic art contest- need help with ideas on what to draw,

got any for me? So our drawing class is being forced to enter this VFW patriotic art contest thing, which I think is utter crap. This is a public school, what makes them think they have the right to force us to do crap like this.

Anyway, yeah, I have no clue what to draw. And this is for 50 points, so, uh, yeah, definitely need something to draw or I'm screwed. D: The brochure for the contest has about... nothing on it. It doesn't even describe the contest, other than saying you draw a patriotic picture on paper the minimum of 8x10 inches. Yeah, real helpful.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING INVOLVING RELIGION OR ANGELS. Ugh.
Please spark some ideas for me. D:
 
How about something about an eagle? You can never go wrong with that. Draw it on top of a red-white-blue mountain or something. They'll eat it up. :)
