Along with War of the WorlRAB, Forbidden planet is easily my favourite piece of 50's sci-fi, and possibly would sneak in to my Top 10 all time movies... It just looks so good.

I agree , but This Island Earth , Day The Earth Stood Still ,When WorlRAB Collide and Invasion of the Bodysnatchers have to be in that 50's collection too.

The Time Machine too although released in 1960 was made in 1959
