these girl names? OK, so I'm not one for bland and boring baby names. I appreciate culture and heritage in names, and I have fun discovering names from all over the world. I am currently in Afghanistan, I serve in the military.

? Angelina Sofia {9/10}
-- I adore Angelina, it's simply gorgeous :) Lina is a very cute nickname, too. I like Sofia, but I prefer the French Sofie. I think Angelina Sofie would sound a little better, but Angelina Sofia looks gorgeous :)

? Layla Ariana {7/10}
-- I've never really loved Layla :/ I much prefer the variant Lilah {LYE-luh, LEE-luh}, which is also an Arabic name meaning "intoxication/wine" or "tease/flirt". Not the best of meanings, but still a gorgeous name. Ariana is very, very beautiful. I like most "-iana" names, my other favourites being Adriana, Indiana, Giana and Briana.

? Ava Dominique {7/10}
-- I am French myself, and therefore love French names. I have a whole namelist just dedicated to Frenc names. However, I can't say I'm a huge fan of Dominique. I think it's been made tacky in today's world. I really love Ava, but it's so overused now. Éva would have been a nicer alternative, in my opinion

? Athena Selene {9/10}
-- Athena is a really gorgeous name. I really like Athens as a guilty pleasure name for a boy, so of course, I love this. I don't love Selene (I prefer Selena, or Serena which is my favourite girls name), but it sounds very nice in this combination.

? Zefia Jamilah {4/10}
-- Not sure why, but I just don't like these names. I'd personally prefer Sofia to Zefia, or even Sefia. The Z sound is too harsh for my liking. Jamilah is kind of cute, but I'm not keen on the H at the end. I also think Jemima or Jasmine would have been better alternatives.

? Giuliana Maria {9/10}
-- Giuliana is gorgeous :) I've always like Giulia, so that's probably why I like this. I definitely prefer them to Juliana/Julia; I'm not keen on J names. Maria is common, but not so much in the middle name slot. It's definitely a fresh change from Marie as a middle name.
