For what movie or book would you have the focus shifted from the protagonist to

one of the supporting characte? For example, instead of watching a movie about Batman, I'd want to see the story of the Joker and his transition from childhood to adulthood to criminal mastermind. Or, instead of Harry Potter, I'd rather read a trilogy on Ron Weasley, his aspirations, his personal struggles, and what his home life is like as a son of the Weasley household as well as any of his adventures left untold in the original books that DIDN'T involve Harry. So name a movie or book you liked (or dislked) that you'd rather see the focus of the camera/pen shifted from the original protagonist to a supporting character, no matter how minor their role, whose story you deem is just as worthy of being told?

I want the Harry Potter books from Severus Snape's perspective. I think they'd be so much more interesting and twisted.

I'm a Jane Austen fan, and I'd like to see either Pride and Prejudice from Darcy's perspective, or Persuasion from Wentworth's. I just think it'd add something extra and maybe make me like the female characters more.
