For those who say cheerleading is not a sport....why?

I don't want to hear 'cheerleading is not a sport, it never will be' or any shit like that. EXPLAIN how it's not a sport, if you're so sure it's not.
So you're only basing it on the stereotype? Gymnastics also focuses on appearance. So does figure skating, dancing, and whether you believe it or not, every other sport. Just because basketball players don't put ribbons in the hair, it doesn't mean they don't focus on appearance. Why must they wear stupid headbands and wristbands? No point. And I said shit. Sue me.
 
i don't believe so because you spend so much time on your appearance...where as other sports don't....name one sport where everybody does makeup, hair, outfit and anything else before a game....and a competition isn't a game......in real sports you PLAY A GAME...although you do compete....and chreerleaders a really mean and b**chy.... where as softball, football, soccer, tennis...and other sports don't do any of this....we might talk smack.....but we don't swear as bad as you do...
