For those voyagers with v09 firmware

I ran into a few issues getting this to flash last night. Spent a while researching and trying different ideas. The v09 firmware locks down the file system and did not immediately flash using the normal voyager tutorial. here is how I adapted parts of different tutorials to get it to work. Nothing that has not been done before, all copied from users suchs asa berry, stevekice, etc

1. Used LG Download and used the vx9100 dll
2. Wrote PRL
3. NV edited everything like the EnV tutorial with the exception of WAP tab
4. Kept phone in DM mode, opened QPST Config, connected, and then EFS file expoere
5. Saved/ edited fileDB like stevekices voyager tutorial
6. Overwrote fileDB, still in EFS explorer, with the edited copy
7. Manually configered the wap tab from phone

So far so good. All the features are working as of right now. Only trhing that bugs me is this lady got this phone yesterday, brand new, and the keyboard is mismatched. There are 3 letter "F's" 1 on each row of keys.

Just though I would share a bit since this firmware does not connect the same as the v05 and v07 voyager firmwares.
 
welp, i take back my enthusiasm with this. After *228 the phone, it dumped the WAP settings and wont let me edit them again nor re-write fileDB. back to the beginning
 
I always *228 before I provision a phone with WAP.

You should still be able to get it into DM mode via LG Download NV Edit tool and then modify/replace it via QPST's EFT Explorer.
 
exactely what i did. seems to be working now. thanks for the awesom write-ups.

guess in the future its going to be onto write-ups using LGNPST seeing as all the next phones will utilize this service tool. Time for us to start sharing some DLL's for it. I have the VX10000 LGNPST on order with someone, and will definitely share when i get it
