coverage as Madeleine, dont' you think it may have been intentional?

Perhaps, if Shannon's disappearance was as widely covered as Madeleine's, it would have scared her abductor into a panic that would have been tragic for her?

Just a view - your thoughts please?
 
It may well have been, just like if Maddie was actually abducted the coverage would have had an adverse affect.
 
Whatever these sick people do who snatch these children is down to their own sick minds, it has nothing to do with the media coverage, they are not right in the head so they do not have your logical way of thinking.
