are you going to put it up RIGHT when you get it, or wait till the holidays?



how many days are you going to list it for (1vs.5vs.7?)


how much are you going to start it at?



what is the best program to design nice looking ebay auction layouts?


is it copyright infringement to take info from the playstation site and use it in the auction (specs, photos, etc.)?

you are not going to be needing stats. I am sure whoever buys a PS3 from you during this season will know what it is an could care less what the actual specs are. Or they have researched it already and know themselves
 
You Cant Make The Auction For One Day......eBay Wont Allow It.
So Far The Highest Bid For A PS3 Pre-Sale On eBay Is 2,520, And Was Started At $1.
 
so you cant do a one day auction with the ps3?



are you SURE you can use frontpage to do an ebay auction, then copy the html?

are there any rules or guidlines that need to be followed?

i would put the stats just so it looks nice...i mean just writing "you are bidding on a unopened ps3" with pictures of the ps3 and the receipt would be sufficient?!
 
I think you will be able to post a 1 day auction as long as you have the item on hand..

Just copy/paste the body section of the HTML.. The stuff betwen the < body > and tags.
 
Well there will be a box to type in your description.. Just make your page in normal view in Frontpage and then go to HTML view and copy the code between the body tags and paste them into the ebay description box. If you're not sure if you did it right you can preview your auction listing to see what it looks like.

For mine I just typed a description using different font in blue and red and added some images hosted on the web.
 
you should just look at what it sells for at an average and do a buy it now - instant payment

chances are if you do a regular auction, it will be a fake bid winning
