For the metal heads...

Death/grind without a doubt, though black metal comes as a close second. I've been listening to alot of folk/viking stuff recently, some of it is really good, I urge all curious people to check out Bergtatt by Ulver and Autumn aurora by Drudkh.

Genre's and sub-genre's are merely tools that are useful for describing music, and they are very useful for that. But they are not set in stone, and there are many banRAB out there that defy the concept of genre's due to there varying influences.

A lot of Swedish metal banRAB are melodic death, at least thats what sweden is well known for. Prayer For Cleansing are considered melodic death with a heavy thrash influence I believe.

I picked death/grind, but I listen to a lot of stuff. That's just what the majority of my cd's are. Meshuggah is one of my favs. Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Suffocation, God Dethroned, Hate Eternal, Mastodon, Lamb of God, Dillinger Escape Plan....bla bla bla.

one the one hand i'm really into black metal on the other hand i'm a big fan of old metallica and i like green day too
fuck scenes, just true music
