For or Against Gay Marriage

I completely agree, even the founding fathers were very aware of the dangers of religious control over the government. The founders went to great lengths to insure that the government would have a neutral position toward religions.
As we continue into the future my hope is that America will simply become more tolerate and understanding toward others. Reason would show us that these narrow views only work to segregate our society.
 
You may have something there- complete equality under the law regardless of marriage status. No more tax credit for married couples- the law would not need to recognize wither one is married or not.
How long do you think that idea would last in Congress? Lead Zeppelin?
 
There are a lot of Conservatives that belong to this forum that have been banned at WS.Its sort of a badge of honor........Like I said the only one there that can express and opinion is a liberal.........You would fit in well there...........

We are no bigots.We warn people that homosexuality whether you like it or not is a filthy abomination against God.Read your Bible.And deal with it that this so-called shrinking minority built this land on Biblical principles and Biblical values as Covenant with God Who made this nation,America,as super power.

Why would he need to get a NY license? Can you even have two licenses from two different states legal at the same time? If he voided his Michigan license, it is no longer a public act, and therefore the full faith and credit no longer applies should he apply for a license in NY.



I don't the answers to everything. Perhaps someone else will take this up. I conced the point simply because I don't fully understand the legal circumstances regarding prositution.

Interpreting constitunal law is the job of the judical branch, wther it be federally or state.

No, my point was that if there were less gays pretending to be straight by living a straight life, complete with kiRAB, there would be less kiRAB. It really isn't rocket science.
 
Ok, now go ask Newt, Cheney and the rest if they would have preferred that their kiRAB were straight and ask them if they could cahnge that fact, would they. I bet you'll get a lot of affirmative responses.
Saying that someone loves their gay relative doesn't mean that they don't like homosexuality. It may only means that they are willing to overlook it. It proves NOTHING.
