Has it ever occurred to you right wingers that maybe the solution is to raise healthier homosexuals. You will never make homosexuality go away, it has been here for thousanRAB of years or more. For all of the ways people have tried to make it go way, most or all have failed. Even so called reparitive Therapy only seem to claim a 1% success rate. Promiscuity is a sign of low self esteem and growing up in a society that dooms you from the start creates low self esteem. Maybe society should try to raise homosexuals that don't have sex outside marriage. Then let them get married. Maybe we should also teach better sex education in schools focusing on safe sex practices for both hetero and gay students. Promote an enviroment where gays and lesbians grow up feeling good about themself and take care of themselves becasue of it.

How can you say that when Thomas Jefferson in the Treaty of Tripoli said that this nation was not a Christian nation, is not a Christian nation, and will never be a Christian nation?
 
That's why I try not to use terms like "obvious" or "clear" anymore because the clarity is always what is at issue. If it were clear, then there would be no dissent except for easily correctable ignorance.
 
Like I said I listened tou your governor on the news the other day and the stats you cite do not agree with what he said.............

He said that 50 percent of the people were against gay marriage and 34 percent were for it.........
 
But what if your sister of brother came to you, with the information that they were gay ? Would you toss them aside, and never speak to them again ? Or would you become active in supporting them and work to make sure that their rights, like yours, would always be secured ?
 
Both groups are a class of people, minorities. Obviously not in the same way. However, we are discussing irrational discrimination, based on prejudice, in both cases.



There we go again, trotting out the threat, and making my point for me again. Religious freedom is important for everyone. Those religious sects which want to marry gay and lesbian couples see religious freedom as important. Religious freedom does not mean imposing one religious view. Laws, and also relgious views, can and do change.



It may be against the teachings of YOUR religion. I am not required to be a part of YOUR religion, nor indeed of ANY religion.



First off, gay marriages are not perverse unions. Secondly, you continue to use these logical fallacies as a diversion, because you don't have an argument against gay marriage. This is a false dilemma fallacy. We are not limited to only the two choices you give us, either reject gay unions, or else allow any other type of union.
 
And they'd be wrong. The number of people holding an opinion has no bearing on the truth of that opinion.
You really should stop misrepresenting people and their positions. A law prohibiting abortion would be gov't interference, whereas as law permitting a woman's choice would be a lack of gov't interference.
 
Considering that "some" of them had relationships with their slaves, I don't think it would be too far fetched to say "yes". Now, homosexual marriage, I doubt it.
 
Marriage between a man and woman is the very corner stone of our society. The homosexual and liberal agenda is to attack the sanctity of marriage and bring down the very society which God has given us. Homosexuality is a perversion of nature and God's plan for mankind. In the Bible it is written, " A man who lays with a man as he should lay with a woman shall surely be put to death. " In the book of Romans God teaches us thru Paul that a homosexual can not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I reckon that about sums up the subject of what our Lord thinks about homosexuality and homosexual marriage/unions.
