For my Liberal friends, Do you hate President Bush more then you love the USA?

I wouldn't say I particularly hate Bush.I'm sure if he wanted to buy me a drink we would get on brilliantly.

Its the Bush admin's foreign policy that i hate.Idealism before realism.Democracy before Stability.In general because of Bush's meandering's into Iraq a lot of people are going to suffer unnecessarily.Americans in general are prably fine.Except the fat old ones that visit my village the odd time,expecting to see leprechauns jumping out of gold cauldrons.Idiots.
 
As I have said many time my liberal friend...........Some things are worth fighting for but I don't ecpect you to understand that............Few Liberals do......That is the sad part.........
 
This is a tough question, since it seems the more someone loved the US the more they would hate Bush, and it is impossible to weigh two different emotions, I believe. Do you like chocolate more than you fear spiders? Do you enjoy the cinema more than you feel disgusted by a public toilet?
 
The Left in this country has a huge problem........They want the power back they had under Clinton........The problem is they have to hope everything goes to hell in a handbasket to get power back..........They have to hope the economy and the stock market bomb........

The worse part is though they have to hope that things go bad in Iraq so they can say "See we told you so."...........Even if hundreRAB of innocent Americans and Iraqis are killed and wounded........

I hope to God I am never in a situation like that in the USA.......

Public schools really do suck here, but I can't blame that for my grammar because I went to a private Catholic School but English was not my best subject..........

Thankfully I always had a subordinate like you to proof read my corrospondence my liberal friend.......... :)
 
To say "every crack addict throughout history has supported his habit by robbing people", does that means its ok to rob people if you're on crack?

This is essentially the position of VoR, he wants to spend other peoples' money and lives, liberals want to spend other peoples' money, but because he's on crack, it's ok.

Anyway, I think it's nice of you to speak for what's going on inside the head of not just one person, but a big group. You are so cocksure that you are right and everyone else who disagrees with you doesn't care about saving lives and want everything to go bad just to say "I told you so". That sounRAB like a bunch of preschoolers running around, can't people get over that?

Maybe you think that liberals feel that way because if you were in that situation that's what you would do. I don't know, I don't pretend to know anyone's intentions and thoughts and hopes. I can't speak for anyone else, and I don't consider myself a liberal (of course you would, because I disagree with you), but I can tell you I don't want Iraq to go bad. The problem is that it is already going bad. You make people who are anti-war seem like they are anti-military. As explained in the "Is it possible to support our troops but not their mission" thread, I don't wish to see any American soldier dead. That's the reason I was against this war from day one. We simply didn't have enough reason to go to war and we didn't use it as a last resort. I value the life of every single human being, and as FDR put it:




Apparently because I don't wish to have soldiers die in a war that in my opinion was not completely necessary, you assume that I want our troops dead to prove a point. On the contrary, I want our troops to suceed with as little deaths as possible. Apparently that's too hard for you to understand because if you were in this situation you would want to say "I told you so". You need to grow up.
