factory model for the car? In two years, the car went through 3 fuel pumps. There are new lines and two new filters installed and it still goes through the pumps? I don't trust the shop I took it to cause they failed to solve the problem, just sucking my $.
 
Maybe you should have the tank cleaned, too?

And yeah, it should work as long as the new pump produces roughly the same pressure as the old one.
