cellphone law in California? Not the police! I drive for a living. Everyday I see dozens of folks in Cali breaking this law. Sobriety check points seem to catch a lot of drunks. How about staging some hands free check points!! I am sick of people who are just too lazy to buy a blue tooth. They can stick it in their ear for all I'm concerned! Bust um.
For laws to be effective they MUST be enforced. Who's enforcing the hands free
