...nuclear power plants? For a policy that says: The U.S. government should subsidize the construction of 50 new nuclear power plants by the year 2020, and also subsidize research and development of long-term nuclear waste storage and nuclear fusion technology."?

Is my policy even feasible? I'm on the affirmative team of whether the U.S. should substantially increase nuclear power production.

How much money do you think it will cost? Is about $5 billion each power plant about right? So.. that would be about $250 billion total? How would Congress fund this policy?

thanks.
