When I heard the evoultion theory and then read the creation story I found it interesting how after Adam and Eve ate of the fruit they became aware that they were naked and became concisous of right and wrong. Doesn't this seem similar to man evolving from a lower life form with low intelligence to a more intelligent being like we are today. The cro-magnon. Also, doesn't it seem that the entire Adam and Eve story is not to be taken literally, but is a good account of mankinds beginnings as told to a neolitich people with little understanding of the world around them?
One example how after they ate of the fruit God says "now women will bare children in pain", almost like more women had been around and Adam and Eve were just symbolic names of man and woman.
