it using the ipod as a source? I am essentially building a graphic equalizer using a BASIC stamp II and wanted to use a passive crossover to separate the bands. However, I don't know how to how to make the passive crossover in such a small scale - whatever schematics I find are for much higher voltage car audio systems.
 
It may be possible to make an active crossover on that scale, but not a passive one. If you want any degree of separation between the bands, you will need large capacitors and inductors.
