Well, I have loved football for a very long time.
This year I decided to step it up and join a club.
Well, season has started and all is well - except for the fact that I'm terrible.
I can juggle, do a rainbow, make precise passes... I'm ok at individual skills, but what I lack is knowledge of how to actually play the game.
I find myself running back and forth, not really knowing where to go. I will never know when to step towards the ball, when to provide help for a teammate, etc. I lack proper positioning skills. (of course I know where on the GENERAL pitch I should be, but only within like 25 feet, if you know how I mean.)
I play forward for a U16 team.
Any tips or anythign that could help a ol chap out?
