ive owned a n73 for nearly two months and id have to say its the best phone ive ever owned, especially it being my first nokia. i wanted it for the camera but i never exactly used it...ever. so now i want to try the e61 for its wifi and qwerty keyboard and it will definitely make my scheduling much easier. also you u think i could sell it for a good price with a low difference for a e61? any opinions?

Yeah why not.. If the E61 suite your lifestyle.. I had both phones but I sold my E61 and still have my N73..

Your actually gaining profit if you sell your N73.. and get the E61!

Don't go for a trade.. Your getting rip off! Cause N73 is more expensive than the E61..

I think what makes the N73 expensive is the High Res 3.2MP Camera with Carl Zeiss Lens.

But other than that.. Its not that bad.. Its what really suite your lifestyle!

If you trade your USED N73 for a NEW E61, it's about even. I've considered moving to an E61 or even an E60 recently for a better keypad and the wifi, but I really can't go without the built-in camera.

What's the worst that could happen? You lose a $100 buying back another N73 after all the shuffle?

@smood74
i curently own an n73, which i got after i sold my e61,
the e61 is the ultimate messaging/surfing/data transfer device, but the absence of a camera dooms it for the larger audiance, hence the e61's price is fallling like a brick,on the other hand the n73's price is a lot more stable, even a slightly used n73 costs more then a new e61.
the e61 will fairly set u back. u aint gettin any thin good when u sell it.

dont really mind not having a camera. not of much importance to me. i rather have a dependable phone thats going to last. how much do you think an immaculate yet used n73 could go for anyway?

I'm the opposite as well, I'm going to be putting my n80 and e62 in the drawers replacing them with an n73. e61/62 is good for browsing the web.

I too sold my e61 for the n73. I should be getting mine in the mail tomorrow! I absolutely fell in love with symbian after I first tried it. I gave up the e61 mainly because I don't use the wifi at all (hard to find hotspots in GVRD and there are computers everywhere on campus). I was also missing the camera. Although I didn't really use my camera on my v635 as much, partly because it sucked, I think I'll like the n73 because it should be decent at even making prints! (right?) The e61 was also a bit big for my liking too.

I have yet to experience the n73, but I have high hopes for it! If all else fails, I'll sell it and go back to the e61.

Completely agree... I have both, and I love the E61 but I would never trade it for the N73, I prefer size and camera to wifi.... as was said above though, It's personal preference.

If it wasnt for the camera (I dont use wifi) I would have kept the E61 for the following reasons. Web surfing is great with that nice screen. You can even upload items via the Nokia browser on web pages.

Also for watching movies its the best screen out there on Nokias in terms of size and colors. Also lets not forget about the great battery life

Great Choice..

That was a smart move.. Like I said.. I had both phones the same time and I end up selling the E61 and keeping the N73..

Never regret it.. I even turned down a N93 for my N73.

i like the e61... way more..

reasons for me...

i dislike the n73 build quality and keypad..
i hate the n series firmware that has pic and video blended together.

i love the e61's large screen (eventhough the quality is not as good, more pixelation)
i find the speed and performance of the e61 to be better
no stupid snap, crackle, pop in the earpiece
wifi support and qwerty make it great as a data device.

again depends on preferences i guess.

the e60 has a better quality scfreen and the n93 is pretty much on par...
