Following on the Bond post best and worst villian

Best: Christopher Lee as Scaramanga - what a Bond villan should be :D Or the good old KGB of course.

Worst: the guy in Quantum of Solace - so dull I can't remember his name or his evil plan.

Aha, this is more like it. All we need now is Best and Worst Bond film thread to make the day complete! ;)

Best Villian(s): Jaws and Charles Gray's version of Blofeld. Both are fabulously hilarious baddies. :D

Worst Villian: Elliot Carver - Tomorrow Never Dies is a truly dreadful Bond flick.

Technically isn't Jaws a henchman? ;)

Bang on about Carver though.

He would have been bitch slapped by Drax & Greene.

& those two couldn't negotiate their way out of a wet paper bag.

Well he is still a villain , he scared the bajesus out of me as a kid :D
But if it is the main man you want it will have to be Scaramanga from my favourite Bond film - The Man with the Golden Gun.

Scaramanga is the best most certainly. Christopher Lee completely and utterly carries The Man With The Golden Gun

Worst. Charles Gray's camp Blofeld. Gustav Graves, Max Zorin, and Hugo Drax

I like Elliott Carver, a more subtle and intelligent villain than normal. A slight satire on the likes of Maxwell and Murdoch.

I would say Dr No was a bit crap tbf, one good slap and he would have been down.... Very camp :/
I have to say, thinking bout Sanchez he does seem the most scary but not the most memorable. Maybe because he actually hurt people rather than just planning it.

I would say Red Grant and Rosa Klebb as joint villains.
But I'm biased, From Russia With Love and Goldfinger are my favourite Bond films.

Worst..Kamal Khan..wet, wet, wet.

Fabulous post Willie Wontie...

* * * * * * *

I never really got into Jaws. Hoisted up by an electric magnet? Please... and as for falling in love on a space station...

Best Villain - Auric Goldfinger or Gustav Graves. Thoroughly nasty pieces of work...

Worst Villain - Charles Gray's Blofeld. He just wanted to cuddle his cat (I avoided the Mrs Slocombism....)

I think Christopher Lee was definately the most charismatic and probably the most ruthless.

The best acted I felt was Yaphet Kotto as Kananga although I think that Yaphett Kotto is one of the most underrated actors of our time so I'm a bit biased.

If I ever want to know anything about Bond, I will ask Willie Wontie!!!;)

My favourite villain is Kananga/Mr Big, but then, Live & Let Die is my favourite Bond film

Scaramanga or Blofeld (but only Donald Pleasance) is hard to beat.

And even though I like Tomorrow Never Dies, Eliot Carver was a bad villain; too polite. There's a bit when one of his henchmen hanRAB him something and Carver says, "Thank you"! :D
