Flying, but not for the military?

I've asked this question, but in the wrong way. I WANT to fly, and if need be i'll go to the military, but i want to know alternatives to find a way to fly. I'm a boy from Western PA and i do not think i am cut out for military life. So, what other alternatives to flying for the miltary are there, and no propeler planes, that's just a specific hate
I dont have a real problem with propeler planes, i just don't want them to be my MAIN plane, i'll learn to fly with them of course
 
well you have to start on propeller planes if you want to go anywhere. it will help your skill as a pilot and if you ever want to own a plane to fly for fun, you cant keep an f-16 at your nearest hanger.
 
Nearly every pilot, if not every pilot, will need to start out in propeller planes. Simply go to your nearby city's airport and ask for an intro flight. From there schedule lessons and go through flight training. Good luck!
