I got a 8-10 inch FC about 5 days ago, and he won't eat unless it is alive, like a goldfish and occasionally I can get him to eat a earthworm but I have to slide it down the top of his head so it falls down to his mouth and he eats it. Otherwise he refuses to eat ANYTHING else like Hikari Cichlid food, blood worms, or dried worms. Last night he started rearranging the aquarium moving rocks with his mouth to another area of the tank(it was funny) Is this normal behavior for a male Flower horn. He doesn't bother my plecostomas-he looks at him but that is all. The tank is 72 gallon, so he has it to himself. I know I can't feed him goldfish anymore, but I want him to eat. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am cleaning and vacuuming the gravel twice a week now, because he creates a lot of waste.
The worm I gave him this morning he chewed and spit it out after a bit.
