I have been receiving unemployment for a few months and accepted a job last week. Little did I know, I was walking into a soap opera. Drugs, baby momma drama, etc. I do not like this job at all, and I don't feel safe! My question is, and I am in no way trying to defraud the government... If I quit, can I still receive my unemployment? I have worked there for ONE week, and have all intentions on claiming the money earned. I just cannot afford to quit this job, and they cut off my unemployment from doing so. Serious replies only please!!!
