Really? Never had any quality issues with anything (including comfort) the cinemas up our way. That's why I try to catch the "big" movies at the cinema.

I really do hope this thing goes ahead, releasing on dvd and at the cinema at the same time.
I still go especially for the blockbusters but my local London cinemas are the pits for the reasons I outlined. I could pay more to see a film elsewhere but West End ticket prices are getting close to the cost of a DVD anyway these days and you're not always guaranteed a more pleasant experience just because you paid a bit more. Some screening rooms are the size of people's living rooms

I was watching an ad break on ITV and there was a chair they were selling to "film lovers". It was basically a reclining chair that was supposed to simulate the movie going experience
