Flood of PS3 Information

All I see are games that I'd rather just get a Xbox 360 for, such as Oblivion or Madden, since I would also be able to play Gears of War, and Dead Rising. I currently have none of the next-gen, but hopefully I'll be picking up a Xbox 360, plus Gears of War this X-Mas. A couple months down the line I'll get a Wii and Zelda.

Complete with freezing dashboard. The only game I fucken play on my 360 is Halo2 because it won't freeze up on me. Practically every other game has.

But the aforementioned person is in the market for a high definition disc player. The Xbox 360 is not one of those.

You'd need to get an Xbox 360 + a HD-DVD player. Big bucks!

Not sure if anybody clarified, but that's not a launch lineup, those games will not all be available to buy on November 17.

not all will be available from the launch day.


The only game i'm excited about on the PS3 is Devil May Cry -- nothing else really seems all that great and there doesn't seem to be many PS3 exclusive titles yet

The person who loses at the end of the day is the consumer. They'll get stuck:

1. With one of the terrible DRM schemes for either player.
2. With a HD-DVD player and a movie only available on Blu-Ray.
3. The corrolary to #2.
4. Spending a lot more on a hybrid device that reads both discs.

Why they couldn't agree on some standard is beyond me.
