Flipside TV

Anyone remember Flipside TV, a program on Nation277/Nation217 that was live.

Usually hosted by Richard Bacon, Iain Lee or Justin Lee Collins, there would be 3 panelists who would watch Sky TV and act as a live programme guide. Was usually very funny.

I have three episodes on tape, and I was just wondering if anyone had any other episodes? I really wish I had taped more of them because some of the episodes were absolutely hilarious.

I've looked on Youtube and could only find a few shirt clips. I think they should bring it back. It was on Channel 4 and Paramount Comedy too, but it was more polished and less funny on the whole.

I intend to upload highlights of the episodes to Youtube once I've edited them.

I found a whole episode on veoh.com from early 2004, featuring Karl Pilkington and JLC.Really good to watch it again, I really miss it.

It had to be on at a silly time, that's when the really crappy shows are on to take the piss out of.

ISTR Richard Bacon owns the show's format, and has decided to rest it for now.

mmm, anyone know what Michael Holden is up to these days? He was quite funny and I remember he got drunk once and took the p~ss out of a band because of their name (i've forgotten the name).

He writes for the Guardian doesn't he?

The combo of Holden, Sam Delaney and Boyd Hilton with JLC hosting were the funniest episodes.

This was a great show, my main memory was of the channel flipping always coming to a halt when it was time for the end confontation part of "Cheaters" on Reality TV.

The series on Nation was one of the best things I've ever seen on TV. A great idea, and usually very funny. Shame it was rubbish on Channel 4...
