Flightplan

the reason behind everything seemed to complex, a lot of thought went in to there plan.

i still think its a good film, couldnt watch it again though

They both acted very well and thought was a great film but can somebody please answer me why her husband was killed? I think I understood at the time but now can't rememebr and is really bugging me. Thanks

I'm a narky swine with movies and watched this under duress but even I had to admit begrudgingly to the g/f that it was quite good.

I thought it was a very good film, just 1 point which I thought wasn't right:

when she escapes from the toilet and just lifts open the hatch above the toilet and messes with the electric cabling to short out the lights - are we supposed to believe that anybody could go into a plane toilet and gain access to such critical systems as easy as that?

I watched it tonight and you could see what was going to happen a mile off. Only part i liked was the end where everybody had to like say sorry coz she was right.

I assumed her husband was killed because she had to be fitted up as the hijacker. She was an aeroplane engineer (or whatever) so the captain and crew could believe her plan was to pretend her daughter had been kidnapped so she had access to plant the bomb which she had concealed in the coffin. So for the plan to work her husband had to be in a coffin.

Or is that McGuffin?

i think films set on planes are usually very similar but arent most films now a days. some are better than others and i beleive this is one of them

it was a good film, better than the recent junk we have been thrown with, seriously this film was original, how come every film now is either a remake, or based on true stories, hollywood is seriously running out of ideas
