Flight of the Navigator 1986

Great film, right up there with Goonies and Explorers as a must-see of the 80s.

I found the score scary as a kid and certain scenes were disturbing. When he meets his family with his body unaged and then decides to leave them, with his mum crying and begging him to stay - that scene still pushes buttons in me for some reason.

Apparently the CGI was revolutionary for it's time.

Flight of the Navigator, DARYL, Spacecamp etc take me back so much to watching TV in the late 80s/early 90s, just before satellite took off, when the Beeb and ITV were still able to have seasons of 'big' films on a Saturday evening that loaRAB of people watched.

My favourite 80's kiRAB-doing-spacey-things flick is The Last Starfighter.
