Flight 93

The trailer for this is now online. Wouldn't bother watching it as its just a radar graphic of a plane moving about with audio from the plane over. Not sure how i feel about this film and if it is still a little soon for the horror of that event to be turned into a hollywood movie.

Is anyone else keen to see it??

I think it's too soon as well. I always hate it when people making a film refer to 9/11 to make a point. It just seems a bit crass, it was an actual real-life tragedy after all. I suppose if the film is overtly political like Munich or Fahrenheit 911 then fine, but what about the mention of 9/11 at the end of love Actually?? That made me want to kick my Tv screen in!!

Basically, I can't see any way for this subject and this film to be approached other than as a Hollywood blockbuster affair, if it's not going to be political, which interviews suggest it's not.

The third way is to make it a human drama centred around a crisis which I think is the aim here and also with Oliver Stone's film which centres on some of the firemen involved. That doesn't necessarily mean you have to go the blockbuster CGI route but we'll see.

I still firmly believe that the plane was shot down by the USAF, theres no way they would have let the plane continue on its route, knowing that the WTC and Pentagon had already been hit.

But the US government could never admit to it so they let these stories about the passengers taking control continue.
