so, i was reading up on tmobile and i came upon some information about tmobile plans. they now have plans you can pay monthly in advanced and use the whole month and then when the mont is over go again and pay it again.. So my question is this.. could i just buy a tmobile sim card and get a plan with blackberry minutes and unlimited nights and weekends and put it in my bb phone. Then everymonth just go to a tmobile store and repeat the process.?

yea i have a friend that is on flexpay and he has the 8100 with full internet service...its just prepay...they said that he is not limited to certain plans or services like smart access was. he was able to pick whatever plan he wanted. i think you can pay by card over the net and over phone, u dont need to go into store to pay.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ great cause i wanna just go buy the sim with phone and bb plan and put it in my 8700g until i get the curve

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~flex pay seems to be more expensive though, because you have to pay the 4.99 control charge every month. Unless you set it up to automatically deduct from your bank account or bill your credit card. Then you don't have to pay the 4.99 every month on top of your plan

well i just got back from tmobile store in the mall and they checked to approve me for flexpay.. i was approved for two lines flex pay for two years whatever that means. but since i already have a bb phone i just got the sim card. for a plan i got the six hundred minutes plan free nights and weekends for forty bucks i believe. i also wanted internet and text now the dealer i guess accidenatlly gave me the sk3 internet plan i guess he thought i can get tex for free witht that wich i cant so he went and he called and switched it out and also gave me text messaging. i had to add that now, when i go to register it says its gonna send me a message but it doesnt i can get messages from other places just not the tmobile any idea why?

Bcb, you are on the Flexpay Contract option plan. Unlike the M2M plan, you are actually tied into a contract for 2 years now. There is the M2M plan with no contract but the dealer doesn't make as much commission on it. If you didn't want the contract, I would go back and have them convert you back before 72 hours is up. If the contract doesn't bother you then you are fine and building up credit now with T-Mobile.

Actually if I remember corectly we don't get paid out differently. We get paid all about the same to be quite honest with you. The benefits to being on the contract is if anything happens to your phone you can upgrade and get it at a discounted price. If you are on a month to month and for any reason you need to get a new phone on an upgrade its full cost. Even though you are on a two year contract you can still make changes for instance if your credit situation improves you'll be able to convert to a normal non flex pay account. All that is still in the works. So instead of putting down a deposit of 250$ or More. So it works out. No need to change it if your happy with what you are on. if you have a problem or question go ahead and send me a PM acd ill answer any other questions that you may have~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~

~via BB i(wap.rabroad.com)~from what I was getting at work, if you do get the 2 lines on a 2 year flex pay contract after you finish one year with the account in good standing you should be able to switch off of flex pay on to a normal contract just like smart access was allowed to do, but I've heard a couple different stories behind that...
