Yea, that was something they had mentioned, but even inside my Apt, I have 4 to 5 bars at all times and at work 5 bars all night. So I know it wasn't the signal.

But I got home from work, tried the apps and they did not work. I did the OS re-install with a backup and a FULL wipe thru the DM, then a full restore. Booted up, set the APN to wap.voicestream.com, hard reset, tried opera and it worked. Maybe those steps will help someone else, maybe not.

Well let's see. You pay 20$ for the blackberry internet plan? And you have google maps working but not opera mini? Your apn settings is wap.voicestream.com make sure its set and make sure you aren't on wifi. Sometimes trying to connect or set data settings on wifi can cause incorrect set up. ~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~
