Such as the Continental Ultra "Gatorskin". Then there is "slime" that you can put into the tubes that will take care of small punctures.

A AviationMetalSmith New member Sep 15, 2009 #3 Thorn Resistant Tubes. Ask about them at any bicycle shop. They are twice as heavy as regular tubes.
