Flashing Xbox 360 Disc Drive Consequences?

So im thinking about flashing my x360 disc drive. Im not going to go online on any games but i want to play my back up of assassins creed two. I ripped it to my computer before it broke. Will i get banned from XBL if i play it or will they find out and ban my console or something. I want to play on my XBL account for achievements but will i be banned? Please help ive been thinking about this for a while. Anything Helps
