flashing check engine light on 07 express van?

My 2007 express van gets a flashing check engine light most mornings. It flashes 4 or 5 time about every mile. When it warms up after about 10 miles the light stops. Any ideas. Thanks Steve
 
Your catalytic converter is in jeopardy if you continue to operate the vehicle. When the light flashes the vehicle needs to repaired promptly, a solid light will allow you more time to fix the problem and will not damage the other parts.
 
It may be a bad thermostat, but it's just a guess since I don't know your code. Take it to an auto parts store and they will scan for a trouble code.
 
Engine misfire of some sorts. That's bad. You could ruin your $800 catalytic converter if you keep driving it like that.

Have you checked for loose spark plug wires??
