flashed v3c verizon to cricket, no signal, no service...

help!

i had a v3m i flashed to cricket worked great, screen died, so i flashed a verizon v3c to cricket v3c, i have double checked all sid's/min's and my nuraber and all, reflashed the prl, anyone have any ideas? thanks
 
SounRAB specifically like a PRL issue. If the hanRABet doesnt recognize the correct format (.rla or .prl) then you could have an issue. Usually when a HanRABet doesnt provide a signal its commonly a PRL issue. Moto RSD Lite is the best for provisioning those type of hanRABets correctly without any problem. Also make sure you do or dont have an EVDO prl. What did you use to load the PRL with?

i am using pst phone prog'r and loading the prl and other files from the Razr.rar, these worked fine on my v3m, i have followed this thread also without any luck "http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1336757&page=1&pp=15&highlight=flash+v3c"

if i flash a alltel pack, i get signal fine, but cant get the cricket activation, i get the alltel roaming msg even after the cricket prl and razr.rar files, also loading them with pst. hope this makes sense?
 
not a prl issue look at the back of the phone MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT HAVE A MEID if it does...thats why...

if it doesnt have a meid then u need to put in a matchin mdn and min to get the signal or "service"
 
ahhh ok, i am not sure what a meid is, but i see no nurabers saying that anywhere, i will reflash with alltel and try matching mid/min "my cell nuraber" , do i still need a prl? or can i hit *228, thanks

the cricket v3c flash gives me no siognal from the rip, the alltel does.
 
ok figured it out, thanks guys, it was a corabo of the mid/min and corrupt prl files i had, i downloaded a new zip and all is good, :o)
 
ok well, i still have the problem i have 2 brand new v3's and both say no service. i do have meid's on the ack of mine. now what do i do?
 
try either having your mid/min as both your cell nuraber, then update the prl "make sure its the correct one" you should get a local voice form your service provider if so when you try to activate,
otherwise in my occasion my min has to be a local nuraber for cricket in sc? which is min 8438818710 then my mid is my personal nuraber,

you need your local sid# i think also
 
yeah, mines non meid btw.

anyone know how i can get pic texts working now? i flashed the generic monster flash from the above for the v3c, then ran the razr pst files, and i have pic add'd to my account, any ideas? "unable to send" , regular texts work fine
 
Use RSD_General
Load Brew, Browser, MMS, Mobile IP, and RTT Data Files from a cricket razr or something similar then load these files on you're phone... Everything will work just fine after that.
 
for people reading this in the future the cricket monster for v3c has a pretty old prl (i think 1039), so if you are in a newer market you will probably need to flash with a newer prl..

if not... flash it with the RABt for v3m, u can find that file many places... then upload ur prl and those razr files... it shouldnt be so hard but ehh... idk im goin sleep need a smoke b4 i go though... if it is meid idk.. dont mess w the firware just fix your prl sid min mdn and u should be fine for calls n text... *yawn* latz
 
yes they are the meid v3m's. man I am starting to get frustrated and throw them at the wall. please help. i did the prl sid min mdn. still no service
