Flash player on HTC Hero

worlds first phone with flash player.....that doesnt always work

there are a lot of websites i view that have flash, which my Hero wont play or display the flash items, anybody else having the same issue? or any ideas on anything i can do?

not really much you can do, my understanding is that the hero flash player is something htc put together and not anything remotely official from flash.

so you're options for flash on the phone is to wait... what will probably be a long time since adobe likes to show demoes of flash working on a mobile device then never actually release it...
 
Yep - flash on the HTC Hero is "Flash Lite", and is nowhere near a fully fledged Flash player.

I hear you on the "never actually release it". Mind you - they did say first quarter of 2010... they still have a month.
 
The only release dates I've heard of was the lite version for the HTC Hero (which it already has), then "late 2009 / early 2010" was stated in May, but that was quoted by everyone was "late 2009". Adobe announced in November that it would be Q1 of 2010. They didn't say which devices though, just that it was "for Android".
