Im a 28/M. 5’10 & 180lbs. I seem to have a problem with my lower back. A week back I probably over exerted my back muscle when I tried working out after a long break. At the time I did not feel any pain but it did feel like my back was gona give up sometime during the next day & it did. I had a sudden shooting pain only in my lower back that weakened my body & made me almost pass out. I was given Muscle & pain relaxers & it got better then.
After a week or so of lots of extra rest & slowdown in daily activities along with some suggested therapy, I still get a flash of pain only in the lower back (when just sitting in a chair )rarely (once or twice) till now. Is this normal ? Are the muscles just improving from the damages ? The X ray was normal. Would an MRI help ?
