Flash memory or hard drive? ?

I found a camcorder with a hard drive that is about $80 cheaper than an almost-the--same camcorder with flash memory. The HD is 120GB and the flash is 32GB.
I'm comparing the Canon VIXIA HG21 (HD) and the VIXIA HF11(Flash)
 
Dont choose based on memory space, choose based on codec used and resolution offered. Both are big enough that you wont run into space problems.
