Flash Actionscript Timing to load picture?

I am trying to load a couple of pictures using actionscript instead of frames...but i want to do it in a timing matter... please help

For example ...see this website,,, http://depthcore.com/ ...

so ...every 3 second a new picture will roll over the older on and loops itself...?
