Flash 8 & flash cs4 ?

for people that know about flash programs
when i say flash 8 i mean the edit program not the player

is flash cs4 the new genration of flash 8 ? if it is why dont they sell flash 8 any more :( i cant find it on adobe.com and you have to buy that shltty cs4 witch costs like $699 .... does anyone have a explantion for this
 
Yes, Flash CS4 is a very advanced version of Flash by about 3 generations.
You've got Flash 8, then MX 2004 (both of which were still in the hands of Macromedia), then Adobe bought the company and made Flash a part of their Creative Suite (CS) 3 and 4.

The Adobe ones are much better and use a newer version of the Flash Code (ActionScript).
