I have a 2003 ford focus that I want to sell. A while back, I was dumb and put the carbon fiber stickers on the inside of my car (surrounding the stock stereo and all). My brother and I removed the stickers months ago using "goo gone". Well, my brother used a little too much of the goo gone and it ate away some of the coating on the plastic that surrounds the stereo...therefore, it now has a shiny appearance in that small area. Do you have any ideas on how I can clean it up and make it look normal before I sell it? Should I paint it flat black? Or coat it with something?
