fixed gear bike height? i'm 5 foot 6 inches tall?

looking to get a new bike, and i'm wondering what would be the best height of a bike would be for me. i'm 5 foot 6 inches tall. i'm buying a single speed/fixed gear.. if that makes a difference. i have the choice of 49cm or 52cm. thanks!
 
I think you would probably be ok with either the 49 or the 52. My girlfriend is 5' 6" and rides a 49cm single speed. She could probably go a little bigger as people often do with a fixie so unless you have an abnormal inseam it will probably be a matter of preference
