Fix it ticket for Termi Slip ons

Got a ticket the other day for having an modified exhaust on my 1098.

I idled by him when i saw LEO parked but he pulled in behind me and still pulled me over.

Said he could see from behind I had no baffles in...oh well, as two Harley's cruise by making twice the noise.

I get the courtesy notice in the mail and it has N/A in the "Amount Due with proof of correction" box.

So I have to pay $124.50 and don't get any break for the correction.

The only thing missing was getting it up the ass with the rough end of a pineapple.

Law of averages bites you everytime.

Sorry to hear about that. Not surprised to see you are in the san jose area after hearing about the fixit... i am in the south bay also
 
Daaaamn, sorry to hear about that man.......... and they think they're trying to improve motorcycle safety... but just not for us sportbikers... Harleys yes because they "put put".... freakin punks... I hope it wasn't a bike cop
 
most COPS suck ass, most cops that pull Street bikes over are either Harley riders or cant ride at all so they bust our balls.

And that is such a Bullshit ticket when you think about all the Harleys and Choppers with No silencers at all.
I would totally fight this ticket, just out of principal.....
 
If I thought i could win I'd fight it, but here in CA the Termi's are actually only meant for track use. The dealer won't even install them. Not like every second sportbike doesn't have a pipe on their bike. I'll have to start riding my Ruckus again...probably pull me over for being to slow. LOL!!

Funny thing is with the diffusers in they are as quiet as the stock pipes.
 
good point Tito and yeah Forstret, ride that Ruckus with pride man, I wonder if you pulled wheelies with that thing though if you'd get a ticket for "exhibition of speed" or whatever lolz
 
1098 sounds like my Ruckus when i put the diffuser's back in.

Oh well I can drink a Starbucks with one hand while riding and park on the side walk with that little shit.
Bad thing is people keep looking down on me and if I start splitting lanes I'm liable to get trapped there.
