Fix a Ford contour Stripped oil pan treads (oil plug)?

I have a 1999 Ford contour, with a 2.5L engine. I was doing and oil change and I notice that the drain plug was not getting tight. I pull it out and I noticed that some of the oil pan treads came with the drain plug. I would like to know if there is a way to fix the oil pan without changing the pan; What tools and parts do I need to repair it? and what will be the cost to replace the oil pan? any info will be appreciated .
