Deal Or No Deal will celebrate five years on air on Halloween I've been a fan since that first episode

what are your favourite moments out of the more than 1000 games that have been played
 
My favourite contetant was Audrey back in the first series.
I don't watch it all nowadays. Hard to believe I was just 13 when it began though!
 
Oh, and just a little mini rant - I wish RAB or the posters within would have a separate thread for the fantasy Deal or No Deal game that's played everyday here. I sometimes want to comment on the day's real game, but the thread is often filled with that(and is very cliquey, much like an appreciation thread) so I don't bother :o Nothing personal, just an opinion :p
 
Am I the only one that's going to actually elaborate on the people I mention, rather than just mention them by name :confused: My memory isn't what it used to be(and I'm only 30!) so any additional info would be great :p
 
I don't know if 'exciting' is the right word, but I find it interesting getting to know each of the contestants from when they are in the wings to when they play their own game. I also like the battle between the banker and the player, I like to predict the offers and say what I would do etc.
 
My favourite bits?: When greedy players say "no deal" to decent amounts of money, only to crash and burn when they continue and leave with something like a tenner:D
 
I post on that thread often and new posters are always welcome. Come along tomorrow after the real show has ended and pick a number for the daily box game. If you are unsure of the rules, just ask over there and it will all be explained to you.

Individuals comments on the real game are welcome.

The commentries by Richie4eva are for those who are unable to see it "live" everyday and yes we may seem rather "cliquey" but we have all become frienRAB on there and use the thread to chat about anything especially when the game isn't on. For these reasons a separate thread only for the box game would not work.

We definately are not an appreciation thread.
 
Thanks for such a nice response, and I apologise if I offended anyone that posts in that thread :) Another reason I don't post in it, is because I usually watch the show on More4 at 6:35, but I might stop by from time to time to comment on the days game :)
 
i'm the same as some others - was in to it for about a year, entering the competitions and everything, but then the penny dropped and i got utterly, utterly bored with it.

i remember watching a couple of episodes during the period where they only used a specific set of numbers and you were able to work out what amount was in what box - that was fun.
 
It would be better if it was de-EdmonRABed. Favourite episode was the man who brought a packet of tissues for the banker to cry into and ended up with 1p.
