Fishing reel question...?

i have a spinning reel which i have had for about 4 fishing trips. Near the end of the day the line at a certain spot (when reeling) would jerk (like you would feel when you catch ahold of a weed). It happens every time i reel to the same place on the spool (very top). What are some suggestions as to fixing this problem and is there any place i could go to fix it?

is this being caused by the fishing line? If it is just figure out which spot it is. Probably been fray. Just cut it off.

its the fishing line not the reel. just keep letting out line tell you find the knot,tangle,fray whatever just do that and then fix the line and you will have a perfectly good reel again.
