Fishing- a tool that adds tackle to the fishing line. What is you opinion?

I’m Tan Nguyen ; I’m an engineering student at Thomas Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I’m researching a way to make and an attachment on a fishing rod that would make it easier to un-snag line and easily replace line. Possibly an addition of a tool that adds tackle to the line for people that can not do that or have a disability. What is you opinion? Is this problem fishing on land and/or water?
