I know fish tb is transferable to humans, but what about dogs and cats
if they somehow were to come in contact with the infected fish?
and i was at my local petstore to ask about my sick fish, she is a betta with a slight curve to her spine (ive seen it other girl bettas too, its just a slight little curve upward and it smooths out instead of bending back down. the last few days i noticed she had lost a part of her tail and almost her complete back fin. she has been at the bottom of the tank breathing heavily or floating on a weed at the surface. she swims weird, but i think it may be because her fins are so badly torn ( i think the other girl betta that lived with her did this)
im afraid its fish TB, if it is should i go ahead and euthenize with clove oil or keep treating her with the melafix. if she gets better how long will it take? if she dies on her own how long will it take? could it be a bacteria?
im worried about my dogs, are they at risk now? thanks!
