Fish in a 0.5 gal bowl?

I am thinking of getting a betta or a goldfish in this bowl

will my fish live for at least 3 months?
Also I am a bit tight on space.
 
Three months is not a healthy lifespan for any fish.

That bowl is not suitable for anything.

Betta- needs at least a 2.5 gallon, filtered, heated aquarium.

Goldfish- needs at least 20 gallons, heavily filtered. The lifespan of a goldfish is 12-20 years.

~If you are tight on space then I suggest buying houseplants.
 
A betta just one will be perfect for that.
I know because I had one in one just like that for like 3 years it did great.
Change it water weekly and use decholornator. Your fish will be promised a healthy and happy life then.
