We went to Panama City FL in Oct. of 2008 and this has been driving me crazy since. My step sis and I were out about 4 to 5 feet in the water (behind the Sunspree hotel) and I looked down and there were several clear/silvery fish about 4-6 inches long swimming around my ankles (NOT JELLYFISH). Does anyone know what they are? And...there was something yellow, I think it was an octopus. It kind of looked like a towel floating around. It wasn't a stingray and certainly not a towel! LOL!!!! . It was big! It was at least a foot and a half long and kind of thick, wide and with a rough texture. I don't have any pictures of it. I wish I did. There was really no one at the scene to ask. Neither creature was vicious or anything, I was just wondering what they were.
